Previously, the group took payments for mid-term adjustments and policy renewals over the phone, but more and more, this restricted payments to be taken by advisors only during working hours. With a focus on customer service, it was vital that they had a payment process that would follow suit and give more flexibility to their customers.
Furthermore, refunds that were due to customers for mid-term policy changes created a huge amount of administration. Sending cheques for small refund amounts was laborious and ensuring those cheques were cashed, as per regulatory requirements, created a massive burden.

Direct payments for new policies are no longer taken over the phone. When the policy premium has been agreed, the client receives a secure personalised payment link via email, SMS or staff members can send a simple pay-by-link by using Prommt’s new ShareLink feature – this has proven to be particularly popular, as a payment request can be copied directly from the platform and then deployed via webchat, WhatsApp, or within any ongoing communication with customers.
